Registration takes a maximum of 10 minutes and you will then receive confirmation by e-mail. As soon as the daycare has a free place for your child, the daycare manager will contact you.

Access priority

Priority is given to families in the municipality of Cologny

presentation of the daycare centre

pop e poppa le sabotier is a childcare facility subsidised by the town of Veyrier and reserved as a priority for families from Veyrier. It is situated at the foot of the Salève in a former school. A courtyard reserved exclusively for the crèche’s children and a magnificent playground enable children to play, move, observe and experiment in complete security and serenity.

The child is regarded as a player in his/her development in conjunction with the nearby natural environment. Respect for the individual and nature, pleasure, sharing and learning by experimentation and discovery are key values.

Anne is a daycare centre manager with 20 years of experience. In addition to her training as an early childhood educator, she holds a bachelor's degree in educational science and a master's degree in adult education. Anne is also a coach with a focus on parental guidance and learning strategies.

The joy of growing up

A smart mind

Neuroscience studies tell us that an empathetic attitude promotes better neural development.

Roots and wings

Socio-emotional skills help the child to make progress on a personal level.

The joy of playing

«Playing is a child's work, it's their job, it's their life.» This is not only amusing, it's crucial.

I feel like…

Free-access play means giving free rein to the imagination and spontaneous movements of a child.
