As a trained childcare specialist and early childhood educator HF, I have been working in this field for around 15 years. Most recently, I worked for 4 years as a group leader at the wäsmeliwald daycare centre. Since August 2025, I have been co-managing the wäsmeliwald daycare with Jasmin, placing great value on kind and transparent communication with the children, parents, and team. My coaching training supports me in working with the team.

I have been working in the daycare sector for nearly 15 years. In addition to my training as a childcare specialist, I also completed the Higher Vocational School for Early Childhood Education. As a vocational training supervisor, I guide apprentices on their path to becoming qualified professionals. Additionally, like Tanja, I am an exam expert for the practical final examination. Since August 2025, I have been co-managing the Wäsmeliwald daycare with Tanja, placing great importance on high professionalism in childcare.

Pop e poppa will take over the St. Anna nursery, founded in 1968, as of 01.01.2026. Together with the team, the nursery has been given a new name: “wäsmeliwald”.

The wäsmeliwald nursery is located in the Wesemlin-Dreilinden district of Lucerne, in close proximity to a green forest. The forest is a place of experience and play for children, where they can explore, observe, play, and investigate with all their senses. In the forest, we are creative, satisfy our need for movement, foster a sense of community, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Forest days take place weekly on a different day.

The spacious rooms, big garden, and colourful façades invite children to explore and experiment. At wäsmeliwald nursery, the wellbeing and needs of the children are at the centre of our work. Each child should be able to develop individually according to their interests. We strengthen children’s self-esteem and allow them to experience personal agency. Every child is unique and is supported holistically and individually in the development of their personality.

Our focus areas:

We place great emphasis on children’s independence appropriate to their age.
Children have ample time at the nursery to explore their environment in a holistic way and with all their senses, following their own interests.
Children are allowed to be children with us and are given sufficient time for their own discoveries and free play.
