pop e poppa took over the Rösslispiel daycare centre, founded in 1992, on 1.1.2024. It is the first pop e poppa daycare centre in central Switzerland, in the heart of the city of Lucerne. The Rösslimatt daycare centre in the Tribschen district is within walking distance of Lucerne main station and can be reached by various bus lines or by car. SUVA and Schurter AG are among the partner companies of this daycare center.

As a “Purzelbaum daycare centre”, we put a strong focus on varied exercise and healthy eating. The spacious outdoor area and the central location near the lake invite the children to take part in numerous outdoor activities. An appreciation of nature and the environment plays an important role in everyday life at the daycare centre. Indoors, we offer a movement room as well as regular children’s yoga activities.

Another focus of the daycare centre is the Montessori principle “Help me to do it myself”. The principles of Montessori education are practiced daily to give the children space and time to be independent. At the same time, it is important to the daycare centre to respond to the individual needs of each child and to support them accordingly. The development of an individual personality and an awareness of the community are particularly emphasized.
