Presentation of the daycare centre
Our daycare pop e poppa Münchenbuchsee Zollikofen Spieloase is located directly across from Zollikofen train station, just a three-minute walk away. The large group rooms and spacious garden offer children plenty of space to freely develop within a safe and nurturing environment. Our movement equipment and our movement room are popular parts of everyday life for both young and older children.
Two age-specific groups care for 28 children daily, ranging from three months old up to kindergarten age. At the center of our work, each child is an individual. We support an active role for the child in their own development. The care team accompanies the child on their path to independence, provides a secure environment, and respects their individual rhythm. We focus on gentle transitions from the family and offer every child the opportunity to experience the joy of life in a community. Close collaboration with parents is very important to us.
We are committed to sustainable development. Our educational concept respects the child and their environment, helping them grow into responsible individuals. Our “eco-friendly” label is naturally integrated into daily life with the children. For example, children are involved in sorting waste, and most crafts are made using recycled or consumable materials. From spring to autumn, we spend an entire day each week with the children in the nearby forest, which is only a 10-minute walk from the daycare.
We support our educational work with “BULG” (Educational and Learning Stories), a resource-oriented observation and documentation tool. We are happy to explain this in more detail to interested parents. In addition, our daycare has been awarded the QualiKita quality label.
