Luana Burkhard

Manager

Luana has been working in childcare since 2016. She has been supporting the pop e poppa spieloase daycare centre since summer 2020. After four years as a group leader and trainer, she also took on the role of deputy daycare manager in summer 2022. In January 2024, she successfully began further training as a team leader in social and socio-medical institutions.

You must never forget to see the world through the eyes of a child.

Presentation of the daycare centre

This pop e poppa daycare centre is located just in front of the Zollikofen train station. Bright and spacious rooms as well as a big outside play area enables children to be physically active in complete security.

In our daycare centres the child is regarded as a player in his/her development in conjunction with the nearby natural environment. Respect for the individual and nature, pleasure, sharing and learning by experimentation and discovery are key values.

We offer each child the opportunity to discover the joy of communal living while at the same time experiencing an untroubled separation from his/her family environment. The educational team supports the child on the road to independence while respecting his/her individual pace and providing a framework in which the child feels secure. In addition, our day nursery has been awarded the QualiKita quality label.
