At pop e poppa, children learn by doing, and much of that learning happens outside. Outdoor activities give them the space to move freely, engage their senses and build a meaningful connection with the natural world.

Regular contact with nature helps children understand their environment, sparks their curiosity and develops an early awareness of sustainability. By walking, observing, touching and experimenting, they experience natural cycles and the importance of preserving resources firsthand.

All outings are supervised by qualified professionals, ensuring safety while respecting each child's rhythm and individual needs.
pop e poppa operates across French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland. Outdoor learning is central to our approach everywhere. In German-speaking Switzerland, our private daycares also offer the Forest Owls programme with dedicated weekly forest days. In French-speaking Switzerland, outdoor experiences take place through regular excursions, garden activities and nature-focused outings organised by each local team.

Connected to our "Health" quality focus and our "eco-friendly" sustainability label, forest owls offers at least one dedicated forest day per week. Activities and rituals are chosen based on each child's age and developmental stage.
Meals are enjoyed as picnics or prepared over an open fire, and familiar daily rituals provide a reassuring structure throughout the day.
