Which languages are spoken in pop e poppa childcare facilities in Wallis?

At pop e poppa, our priority is above all to support each child in their harmonious development, well-being, and personal growth. Early exposure to different languages can be a particularly enriching experience, stimulating curiosity and supporting future learning.

When this service is offered, it is provided within a demanding yet caring educational framework. It is delivered by professionals for whom the language is their mother tongue, ensuring the child a natural, authentic, and high-quality immersion.

This offer is therefore not available in all of our childcare centers. Where it exists, it is clearly indicated on the website of the relevant center, allowing you to choose the location that best meets your expectations.

In the childcare centers in French-speaking Switzerland, French is naturally the language used in daily interactions with children and families. We also make every effort to communicate in the family’s language when necessary; however, this cannot be guaranteed. Our priority remains to provide a caring, inclusive, and trustworthy welcome.

The pages dedicated to each of our daycare centers have been designed to support you calmly in your decision. There you will find a clear and concise presentation of the center, its opening hours, the days of care offered, as well as all relevant information regarding the registration process.

A message from the management also allows you to discover the identity of the center, its atmosphere, and the values upheld by the team. Finally, practical and distinctive information, such as the presence of a garden or terrace, bilingual care, mixed-age groups, or other pedagogical features will help you choose the center best suited to your child’s needs and your family’s expectations.

How is nutrition organised in the locations?

Mealtimes are an integral part of life in our daycare centers and represent a special moment of enjoyment, discovery, and sharing. Through tastes, textures, and table rituals, children learn to try, make choices, gain independence, and enjoy social moments with others.

In most of our centers, meals are prepared and delivered by a specialized partner that meets high quality standards, including certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EcoCook, as well as the requirements of the “Fourchette verte” label.

Some of our daycare centers also have their own kitchen teams, where meals are prepared on site by our chefs, offering a particularly high-quality and warm culinary experience.

In all cases, we prioritize seasonal and local products, especially those bearing the GRTA label, as well as organic ingredients whenever possible. The balanced menus, approved by nutritionists, are designed to support the healthy development of the child while also encouraging taste development and curiosity about food. One to two times per week, we also offer meat- and fish-free meals to vary dietary intake and promote a healthy, sustainable diet.

For the youngest children, food introduction and dietary diversification are carried out in close collaboration with families, respecting each child’s rhythm, habits, and individual needs. This dialogue with parents ensures a smooth and confident transition between home and childcare.

Beyond the plate, mealtimes are a true moment of learning, socialization, and shared happiness.
