Meet our Management
Since 2007, I have been working as a trained pedagogical professional with great commitment and heart in childcare. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a teaching diploma for vocational instruction in childcare, and I have completed the SVF-certified program “Leadership in Team Management.” Since 2022, I have been managing the bäretatze daycare center, placing great importance on respectful collaboration with parents and creating a space where children feel safe, seen, and cared for.

Our daycare center is located in the Lilienthal settlement in Glattpark, Zurich-Opfikon, in the heart of a family-friendly residential neighborhood. We are centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. We have a beautiful large garden that offers plenty of opportunities for exploration. Regular excursions in the surrounding area allow children to actively experience the neighborhood, nature, and new learning environments.
Our concept combines Montessori pedagogy with the philosophy of Emmi Pikler, allowing children to act, explore, and learn independently. Free play and educational activities foster imagination, social skills, and overall development. A special highlight is our own vegetable garden, where children can sow, care for, and harvest plants themselves, experiencing nature education with all their senses.
