Meet our Management
Since 2007, I have been working in childcare. In addition to my basic training, I completed vocational trainer certification as well as various other further trainings. After an extended stay in Madagascar, I completed the Swiss federal leadership training in 2020 and took over the management of the Ärgera Zwärg daycare center. Since then, I have had the pleasure of supporting children, families, and the team with great joy.

An environment

Our German-speaking daycare center Ärgera Zwärg is located in the center of the municipality of Giffers and has been an integral part of the three sponsoring municipalities Giffers, Tentlingen, and St. Silvester since 2016. The two-story family house features a large garden with a homemade mud kitchen, a tipi, and natural materials. We are easily accessible by public transport or by car.
In our family-oriented daycare center, we care for 27 children daily across three groups. We place great emphasis on a nature-based and child-friendly daily routine. Free play, creative activities, nature excursions, and established rituals shape our day. Our play offerings allow children to immerse themselves in their own creative world and promote important aspects of sustainability. Close collaboration with parents is very important to us.
