I would like to begin my introduction with a quote from Janusz Korczak: I have chosen to serve the child and their cause. It reflects the importance I place on the child’s role and my conviction that recognizing their skills, needs, and rights is essential to promote respect, joy, tolerance, and to help our society progress. Engaged with children since 2004, initially as an early childhood educator, I have been serving as a daycare center manager since 2013.

The pop e poppa Vallon childcare centre, located in Chêne-Bougeries, offers a green and soothing environment. Its open spaces and themed areas create a warm place, designed as an extension of home, where children and parents feel welcomed and can develop with peace of mind.

To get a place in one of the childcare facilities subsidised by the commune of Chêne-Bougeries, you need to register on the portal that gives access to the waiting list.
The Bureau de la petite enfance (BuPE) manages the allocation of places according to availability and the priority criteria set out in its centralised early childhood management regulations (see ‘Additional documents’ page). The management of the childcare facilities does not provide any information regarding the allocation of places. The BuPE remains at your disposal for any other questions relating to pre-school childcare in the municipality of Chêne-Bougeries.
